oops! and sudoku (shep pettibone remix)

First: if you want to see the MP4 version of my tour o' Colls, click here: http://blip.tv/file/get/Mtscils598s07-Collingswood132.mp4 (right click to save)

I just learned that YouTube doesn't let you upload videos more than ten minutes long. Oops! Yes, I hang my head in shame that it took me eleven minutes and change to solve that puzzle. So I used Windows MovieMaker to edit out chunks and then I uploaded it to YouTube. I realized during the editing process that my narration leaves many, many things to be desired. The final YouTube video clearly makes no sense, but is perhaps more entertaining than its blip.tv sibling . . . and it still took a long time to upload. Here it is:

sudoku

Technical notes: I used the webcam for this one, and it took forever to upload on both blip.tv and YouTube. Did that happen to anyone else? It could have to do with the fact that this video is very very long. I won't be disappointed if you don't watch the whole thing.

Originally, I planned to do a video on how to give yourself a pedicure, because then I could do homework and paint my toenails at the same time. Then I realized that there are people out there who might really like to see my feet on video, I mean, in a not-very-nice way.

I'm sure there are people out there who get, um, excited over puzzles, too (insert Will Shortz joke here). But for some reason I don't feel so icky about that. So here it is, folks. Me doing Sudoku, pretty slowly:

Collingswood again--YouTube style

tour of Collingswood

this is my fun video--some photos of Haddon Avenue, in Collingswood, New Jersey. I don't like how the pictures are all distorted on blip.tv, but I guess we'll talk about that in class.

photo study: my commute home

For my photo study, I took some pictures of the things (mostly surfaces) I see on my walk/train ride home from work. This is my favorite of the photos i took: the dirty puddle, the reflection of the building, my foot in motion . . . it's nice, yes?

check out our wiki

Our group's wiki is on the Literature Resource Center. It's still under construction, so don't mind that my bio page says I'm a rockstar--that'll all get straightened out soon enough.
